Lurdy House Unveils Its New Era of Modernisation

Lurdy House has entered a new chapter: over the past years, a development programme worth more than HUF 3 billion has transformed the interior spaces, elevated the building’s sustainability performance, and introduced a series of new, experience-driven functions. The results were presented to the media and professional partners at a press briefing held on 26 November.

Key elements of the redevelopment

• New community spaces
The renewal of the interior has brought modern, inviting communal zones that offer comfort and openness for visitors.

• A contemporary design identity
Unified design solutions, new surfaces, and clean architectural elements now define the overall look and feel of the complex.

• Sustainable energy upgrades
A rooftop solar park now generates around 700,000 kWh of renewable energy annually, while the newly installed heat-pump system is expected to reduce grid-energy consumption by approximately 20%.

• Expansion of experience-oriented services
Today, Lurdy functions not only as a shopping mall but as a full leisure hub, offering cinema, VR experiences, climbing facilities, fitness services and wellness options—all in one place.

• Improved comfort and family-friendly features
A spacious car park, easier navigation and visitor-focused upgrades ensure a more convenient daily experience.
