Bistro Zone Lurdy Ház Első Emelet éttermek

Bistro Zone – restaurant area has been renewed

2026.03.26.

The new living room of the house

These days, people rarely visit a shopping centre just because they need something specific. It’s equally important to have somewhere to sit down, eat, grab a coffee or meet up. At Lurdy House, that place is now called Bistro Zone. We’ve completely renovated the restaurant area, and it has become the liveliest spot in the building.

Who sits here, and when?

In the morning, people come down from the office floors for a coffee, at noon for lunch. During the day, business people sit down for meetings. In the afternoon, those waiting for a film grab a table with a coffee. In the evening, it’s the ones stopping by for a quick dinner on their way home. Lurdy’s foot traffic is spread across offices, shops, the cinema, sports facilities and events – but most paths eventually lead here.

Wood, green, light

The renewed space feels completely different from a typical food court. Warm wood-effect surfaces on the floors and furniture, continuous ambient lighting overhead, and green decorative foliage cascading from the ceiling. Bright during the day, quieter and warmer in the evening. The same corner works for a business meeting in the morning and a date at night.

The seating is deliberately varied:

  • smaller tables for two or three,

  • longer shared tables for groups,

  • upholstered benches for those who’d settle in for an hour with a laptop or a book.

What can you eat here?

The Bistro Zone truly comes alive when it fills up at lunchtime – and that required a strong, diverse food offering. The restaurant area at Lurdy House now features an exceptionally varied selection: alongside quick burgers and traditional Hungarian meals, there’s Thai, Chinese, Greek, Italian, Turkish, healthy and light options too – plus a café where you can stretch the afternoon a little longer.

BelFrit, Bőségtál, Burgerilla, Cafe Frei, IL Treno, Gyrotheka, HÁZIKONYHA Bistro & Grill,  Healthy Corner, Kebap Time, KFC, McDonald’s, Mon Crémi café, Pest’O, ThaiWokWok’N Go.

More than a dining area

Many come here to eat, but just as many come for a coffee, a meeting, to wait for something or simply to recharge after a workout. For those living nearby, it’s the easiest lunch or dinner solution.

  • lunch spot for office workers,

  • rest stop for cinema-goers,

  • meeting point for friends,

  • comfortable venue for business discussions,

  • recharge point after exercise,

  • quick yet comfortable option for locals looking for an everyday meal.

Once you’ve sat down here, you’ll understand why you’d never want to wait for your film anywhere else.
