Bitcoin ATM

📍 Located on the ground floor behind the escalator, opposite the OTP ATM.

The Bitcoin (or cryptocurrency) ATM is a physical device that allows users to buy or sell cryptocurrency using cash – most commonly Bitcoin. These machines function similarly to traditional ATMs but are specifically designed for crypto transactions. They feature a display, touchscreen, QR code scanner, and a bill acceptor/dispenser.

💸 How to Buy Cryptocurrency at a Bitcoin ATM

  1. Select the cryptocurrency you wish to purchase – available options are shown on the home screen.

  2. Scan your wallet’s QR code – hold it up to the camera located below the screen, on the right-hand side.

  3. Check the current exchange rate – the displayed rate includes conversion fees; additional mining/network fees may also apply and are clearly shown on the screen.

  4. Have a coupon code? Enter it to receive your discount – the amount saved will be displayed on-screen.

  5. Insert cash – the cash slot is under the screen on the right and will light up blue when ready.

  6. Click “Finish” when you reach the desired amount – the machine will show how much cryptocurrency you’ll receive at the current rate.

  7. Your coins will be sent shortly – usually within seconds, and you can track the transaction on the blockchain.

💰 How to Sell Cryptocurrency Using the ATM

  1. Select the cryptocurrency you wish to sell – available options are shown on the home screen.

  2. If available, tap “Sell” – if the “Sell” option is missing, selling that currency isn’t currently supported by the ATM. In this case, you can use our online platform, where we accept a wide range of cryptocurrencies and offer bank transfers within business hours.

  3. Set the amount you want to sell – the ATM will calculate how much crypto you need to send based on the current exchange rate.
🔺 Important: Send exactly the amount displayed. Even minor differences (due to network fees) will cause the transaction to fail.

  4. Tap “Sell” to lock in the rate – you now have 15 minutes to complete the transaction. If no crypto is received within this time, the process is cancelled and an SMS is sent.

  5. Enter your phone number – this is optional but recommended for receiving status updates or help in case of issues.

  6. Scan the QR code printed on your receipt and send the exact amount of cryptocurrency to the wallet address provided.
⚠️ Make sure transaction fees are not deducted from the amount – you must send the exact total shown.

  7. Once the transaction receives at least one confirmation, your cash will be available. You’ll also receive an SMS if you provided your number.
⏱ On average, Bitcoin confirmations take about 15 minutes but may vary depending on the selected fee. For faster confirmation, consider using a priority fee.

  8. Redeem your voucher: Select the crypto you sold, tap Redeem Voucher, and scan the QR code from your receipt using the camera (bottom right of the screen).

  9. Collect your cash – banknotes will be dispensed from the slot below the screen on the left.
